Prof. Ahmed F. El Fouhil is an Egyptian physician having a Master degree and a PhD degree in Anatomy from UMDNJ, New Jersey, USA, Diploma in Health Profession Education, as well as, Diploma in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. Besides his publications in Clinical Anatomy and Immunology, he is a director of a center concerned with Functional Foods. Regarding Functional foods, his main researches included hypoglycemic effect of date seed extract on Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus and prophylactic and therapeutic effects of curcumin on myocarditis. As a member of organizing committee, chairperson and speaker, he shared in several international conferences of Functional Foods & Bioactive Compounds in Health & Disease in Las Vegas 2011, Santa Barbara 2012 (USA), Kyoto 2013 (Japan), and Regensburg 2014 (Germany). He also shared, as chairperson and speaker in Conferences and Expos for human nutrition in Lahore 2014 & 2015, Pakistan. He is also a reviewer for functional foods in health and disease journal.
